CANCELLATION, CHANGES AND REFUNDING
Bookings of tours and bike rental can be cancelled under the following conditions:
beCopenhagen reserve the right to refuse participation to anyone prior to the tour and also reserves the right to cancel a tour for any reason and refund the payment to the affected customer(s). In this case the client will immediately be informed and all payments made will be reimbursed. In case of incidents beyond our control such as violence, demonstrations, strikes, accidents, illness of tour leader etc., beCopenhagen reserve the right to discontinue a tour at anytime. In this case a partly reimbursement of the tour price for the remaining part of the tour will be made. Further claims fail to exist.
beCopenhagen cannot be held responsible for any unfavorable weather conditions. Therefore the participant cannot claim reimbursement for the tour due to weather conditions.
It is the responsibility of the participant to be at the designated tour location on the correct date and 15 minutes before tour start. If participants are not present 15 minutes before tour start at the latest, beCopenhagen reserves the right to cancel the booking without refund or compensation.
CANCELLATION AND REFUND OF SCHEDULED/PUBLIC TOURS AND BIKE RENTAL
During the Corona pandemic, we have changed our terms of cancellation. Until 72 hours prior to the start date and time of the booking, requests for rescheduling or cancellations can be made and a refund of the full amount accepted. Later cancellations will not be reimbursed for any reason.
Cancellation and rescheduling requests must be made by email and are not final until confirmation is received from us.
A tour may be cancelled by beCopenhagen if fewer than 4 spots have been booked. In that case, we’ll notify guests at least 48 hours before the tour.
All bikes come with high quality locks and chains.

We took the Contemporary Architecture tour by bicycle with Alice and it was everything I was hoping for.
This tour will open your eyes to the architecture and history of Copenhagen and get you out of the congested city center and into a wide range of neighborhoods
We took the Modern Architecture tour (more than four hours) and though there was only the two of us because another party had changed their booking, lovely Alice gave it her all.
I would highly recommend this bike tour. A must do while in Copenhagen! We went on the 3 hour bike tour with our two children ages 12 and 15. Wonderful for the whole family.
Alice has worked in various positions in urban planning and strategy and is commenting on and reviewing new architecture.
She has a Master’s Degree in philosophy and modern culture and she has a profound interest in how our built environment and city planning are influencing everyday life in the city.
Hassan has lived in Copenhagen and abroad for many years, giving him the ability to see the city inside-out and outside-in.
Asser is an architect by trade who turned to the dark side by taking a degree and now working as a construction engineer.
As an architect, he taught at the Aarhus School of Architecture and worked on various smaller building projects.
As an engineer, his line of work is structural engineering and he has a special affinity for timber structures.
