This tour is a kaleidoscopic experience of many different inspirations.
We will take you to the southern part of the harbour, which was – until very recently – a hidden corner of the city with a sketchy reputation.
The new era of this neighbourhood started with a wish to create a new ‘urban suburbia’ by the water, now known as “Copenhagen’s Little Venice” where the water is an integral part of the district’s identity and design.

The tour will also cover some ground and go to Carlsberg city, a cultural heritage collage of clashes between new and old, creativity and commerce, science and culture, coming together in this multifaceted and multi-layered area that came to life when the world-famous brewery moved out.
Carlsberg City won the title of “the world’s best master plan” in 2009, and we will be pointing out the scars left by development made fast and praising the solutions that make this place worth visiting.
The South Harbour and Carlsberg have so much to offer in terms of inspiration and perception, towering high above the mandatory selfie by the Elephant Gate.
To the vast majority of visitors to Copenhagen, this is a hidden gem, never to be discovered.
Well… We can change that for you, and you are in for a treat.
